^{In the '80s the band once again topped the charts, this time with new wave-inflected tunes like "Maneater," "Kiss On My List," "Private Eyes," "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)" and "You Make My Dreams." In 1984, the RIAA announced the act had surpassed the Everly Brothers as the most successful duo of all time, with 19 gold and platinum records to their credit.}
