Renovations
In preparation for the 2010 World Junior Hockey Championships Credit Union Centre is adding additional permanent seating. This project will begin in January of 2009 and be completed by November of 2009. This addition will add over 3000 seats to Credit Union Centre but leaves it with the functionality it has enjoyed for the past 20 years and allows it to continue to bring world class events to Credit Union Centre.
In addition to the seating addition, Credit Union Centre and the Saskatoon Blades are renovating the dressing room areas to give the Saskatoon Blades the premier training facility in the Western Hockey League. This renovation will give the Saskatoon Blades a dedicated training area, an improved dressing room and additional office space. With this renovation Credit Union Centre will be able to expand the facilities available to other events in the dressing room area. This renovation will make Credit Union Centre the premier event facility in Western Canada and give the Saskatoon Blades a competitive edge in developing world class hockey players.
